Hinton Charterhouse  Extension & Refurbishment

The substantial reconstruction and extension of this 1970s chalet bungalow near Bath involved the complete reconfiguration of the internal spaces, including the creation of a new double-height entrance hall capped with a zinc and glass roof over a contemporary engineered timber frame. With flowing semi open-plan spaces at ground floor and plenty of natural light, this tired house has been reinvigorated and given a new lease of life as a thoroughly modern family home.
